The OMG-VERSACOMM4-PCI
provides four PCI bus RS-232 Async
links for communication servers,
point of sale (POS) systems, and
other data collection devices. The
onboard interrupt status port provides
maximum Windows flexibility. The
OMG-VERSACOMM4-PCI includes
the 16554 UART, providing a
16 byte FIFO to keep your datacom
applications running error free.
The 16654 UART, featuring a deep
64 byte FIFO is optional for high
speed applications. Windows 3.1x
drivers are available for more than 4 COM: ports. Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP
automatically configures the
OMG-VERSACOMM4-PCI, therefore
drivers are not required. Drivers
are provided for Windows NT. The Advanced COM drivers for
Windows 95/98 and NT are
included, which provide IRQ
sharing, advanced UART support,
and Windows serial diagnostics.
Windows 3.1x drivers are available
for more than 4 COM ports. DOS
utilities include a diagnostic program
to verify card address and examine
the UART, a diagnostic serial loop-back
test program and an interrupt
driven DOS serial port driver.
