Description
This Series is no longer available! Please see the OM-565 Series as a substitute, or contact our sales/engineering department.
The OM-560 portable temperature profiler offers a unique “wireless” way to measure, record and document temperature variations in processes, such as in-line oven or environmental processes inaccessible to most other temperature monitoring systems. The OM-560 has five thermocouple inputs, allowing a probe to be attached to any point on the parts or object under process. A magnetic wand turns on the circuitry, which reads and stores temperature readings at preset intervals during the transit of the assembly through the entire process. At the end of the process, the OM-560 is detached from the part or object, and is then connected to an IBM PC or compatible which extracts the data for analysis.
All operating parameters and functions are commanded from the PC keyboard, including sampling interval, number of points per scan, graph scaling, number of channels active, and desired temperature units (°C or °F). In addition, the unit can be programmed with a delay to hold off datalogging until a selected number of points have occurred. The OM-560 can also be set for continuous logging, where the most recent data is saved.
The resettable clock provides real- time dated printouts that include the time of the last point logged and the times when data was collected. The clock also turns the logging circuitry off between sampling events to conserve power.
